Leila's Dance Studio
Today we had the privilege of visiting Leila's Dance Studio and watching a ballet class in action. Although initially nervous, the beautiful young ladies soon relaxed and enjoyed the "action".
Leila is phenomenal and has a passion for dance and helping the community. She was involved in a serious car accident which almost shattered her dreams but she was able to overcome her injuries and launched her dance studio on the 4th of February this year. Her ultimate goal is to have her own, properly outfitted studio. She currently has about 40 students from all walks of life.
Some of the comments from the parents were so inspiring as they have noted changes in their childrens behaviour and academic performance since they started dancing.
The little ballerina's have big dreams which we will share with you in their own words.
One of the biggest challenges they face is a lack of stransport for the little students. It isn't safe for the little girls to walk to classes, so it's amatter of urgency for Chanelle's Angel Network to acquire a vehicle so that we can assist with transport to and from classes.
