On the 08th April 2017 I tragically lost my daughter Chanelle in a devastating accident.  She passed away 8 days before her 28th birthday.  She was on her way home when she was tragically hit by two cars that were illegaly racing in a residential area.

To say that we, her family and friends are completely devastated by her loss is an understatement and doesn't do the depths of sadness any justice.  She was a loving, caring, joyful person who spread her joy with everyone she came into contact with.

She loved and loved hard.  There were no half measures in her life and most of all she loved to dance!  Her dream was to become famous one day and we all knew she had it in her.

I couldn't allow her life to be cut off so abruptly and so I have to continue with her legacy.  So know we have Chanelle's Angel Network which is promoting dance and helping different communities with social problems.  Why you may ask?

Well dance is not just dance.  Dance is a non-verbal form of communication, dance is a healer of illnesses, statistically aerobic dance can help to increase chances of survival in cancer sufferers so why not dance and get your exercise at the same time. Dance helps with depression, Alzeimers, Parkinsons disease and so much more.

So let's dance!  Lets meet new friends, get healthy and have fun at the same time.

Yes, I still feel the loss very, very keenly but I can move on by continuing with her passions and dreams.

I leave you with this quote:

Dancing is the loftiest, the most moving, the most beautiful of the arts, because it is not mere translation or abstraction from life; it is life itself.
